We were asked to document the beginning of this latest project from Arcadia Reach, a CIC arm of Arcadia Spectacular.

WHAT

Arcadia have teamed up with the charity Rory’s Well to help tackle the issues around clean water access in remote areas of Sierra Leone.

We went out, alongside their chief engineer Bert Cole, to field-test a solar powered solution to hand pumps, and gather research for the development of a mobile drilling rig capable of reaching fresh water in the aquifers. You can find out more about the project or give a donation here.
